Several cars crashed on Highway 99 in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (May 7, 2024) – Minor injuries were reported in a multi-car accident on Highway 99 near Sutterville Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. Monday. Under unknown circumstances, multiple vehicles crashed on Highway 99 South near the Sutterville Road exit. Emergency responders then responded to the scene and found at least five cars, including a dump truck, involved in the accident.

The reports did not specify how many people were injured in the multi-car crash on Highway 99 or how serious their injuries were.

At 11:30 a.m., officers blocked the highway to investigate and clear the scene.
