Sexual harassment under investigation in Jefferson County

DENVER (KDVR) – Investigators responded to a reported sexual assault in Jefferson County Friday evening.

According to a 6:49 p.m. post from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, there was a “heavy” police presence in the 7000 block of Sangre De Cristo Road due to the investigation. No information was immediately released about a suspect or the circumstances of the case.

The area is located southwest of West Ken Caryl Avenue and South Kipling Parkway. The Ken Caryl Ranch Community Park is located on this block.
