The Buffalo Greek Festival returns! | wgrz.com

BUFFALO, NY — It’s the official state of festival season in Buffalo.!

There was no shortage of Western New Yorkers Friday night, who were eager to get their fill. WGRZ’s Keelin Berrian met the festival-goers who make it an annual tradition.

Festival spokesperson Christina Sergakis told 2 On Your Side, “You’ll get to see some traditional Greek dancing and then a lot of delicious food and you have to go, you know there’s tasty stuff here, the souvlaki and the gyro, and then you can go upstairs to the cafe, get your sweet fix.

But it’s so much more than the food and the celebration. The Greek Festival honors Greek culture in Western New York and around the world, featuring cultural exhibits and church tours.

Admission is $3 for adults and teens. Children under 12 enter free.
