Rape: Two arrested for raping two minors | Surat News

Surat: Katargam police have arrested 22-year-old Yash Tank on charges of raping a 15-year-old girl. Tank works as a foreman in a textile company in Surat. According to the case, Tank first met the girls in January 2023 when she had come to celebrate Uttarayan at her relatives’ house. Both of them also exchanged numbers. They started chatting on Snapchat. After a few days, Tank lured her with marriage and took her to his house where he raped her. He also took nude photos of her, threatened her to make the photos viral and raped her multiple times. In another rape case, 24-year-old Raju Yadav was arrested by Kapodra police on charges of raping a 12-year-old girl. Yadav lived with the girl’s mother for four years. In the last few months, he raped the girl multiple times. When the girl’s mother came to know about it, she withdrew from Yadav. However, when Yadav returned and again tried to rape the girl, the girl’s mother filed a complaint with the Kapodra police. tnn
