Charlotte Police Provide Update on Shooting That Killed 4 Officers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WTVD) – The Charlotte Police Department will hold a press conference with an update on the investigation into the fatal shooting of four police officers last month.

In April, police officers in Charlotte were shot while attempting to execute two arrest warrants. Four other officers were injured in the incident.

The four police officers killed were later identified as Deputy US Marshal Thomas Weeks Jr. (48), veterans Sam Poloche and Alden Elliott of the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction, and CMPD officer Joshua Eyer.
