PRICEVILLE, Alabama (WHNT) – A Decatur man and couple were arrested on child endangerment and elder exploitation charges after the Priceville Police Department (PPD) raided a home Thursday.

PPD Officer Terry “Turk” Jones investigated 37-year-old Kristopher James Clemons, who was arrested on April 26 for first-degree possession of a forged document and was out on bail.

On May 30, Jones obtained a search warrant for the home of Kristopher Clemons and his wife, 39-year-old Roxann Clemons, and arrested the couple inside the home. During the search of the home, the PPD also arrested 58-year-old Willie Elbert Wherley.

According to officials, all three were taken to the Morgan County Jail.

Two juveniles were in the house and were handed over to the custody of the Department of Human Resources (DHR), according to investigators.

Both Kristopher Clemons and Roxann Clemons were charged with first-degree financial exploitation of the elderly, first-degree theft, trafficking in stolen identities and chemical endangerment of a child. Both were held on $210,000 bail each.

Wherley was charged with chemical endangerment of a child and held on a total bail of $10,000.
