Chiefs’ Rashee Rice faces police investigation for alleged nightclub attack | News, results, highlights, statistics and rumors

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is facing another legal situation over an alleged assault that occurred at a club in Dallas on Monday.

Last month, Dallas police announced that Rice was being charged with eight felonies – six counts of collision causing bodily harm, one count of collision causing serious bodily injury and one count of aggravated assault – stemming from his involvement in a multi-car accident the highway in 2010 are due to march.

Rice’s attorney, Texas Senator Royce West, confirmed on April 4 that Rice was driving one of the two vehicles that caused the chain reaction accident.

About Steve Smith Sr Agent 89 On the show, NFL Network’s James Palmer said there is an expectation that Rice will be suspended for “at least” half the season for the crash incident once the league’s investigation is complete.

Two victims of the accident filed a $10 million lawsuit against Rice and SMU cornerback Theodore Knox, who allegedly drove the other vehicle that caused the accident.

Police are currently interviewing witnesses about the alleged incident at the nightclub, but no further details have been released at this time.

Rice was a second-round pick by the Chiefs last year. He appeared in 16 games during the regular season and started all four games en route to the Super Bowl. The 24-year-old totaled 1,200 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in 20 games.
