ACPD investigates lacerations near TJ Middle School

Arlington police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed and stabbed another man near TJ Middle School on Friday morning.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are still searching for a man in his 20s who allegedly stabbed another man at knifepoint during a robbery near Thomas Jefferson Middle School Friday morning.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a man with a knife approached another man in the 100 block of S. Glebe Road, according to an 11:17 a.m. post on the ACPD’s X account (formerly Twitter). The man with the knife stole cash and jewelry before fleeing.

After the victim received medical treatment on site for the cuts, he was taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Arlington officers searched the area for the suspect with assistance from Fairfax 1, the Fairfax County Police Department’s helicopter. Despite these efforts, police ended the search without locating the suspect, according to a post by X at 11:58 a.m.

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect, who was wearing black hoodies and jeans. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Tip Line at 703-228-4180 or [email protected].
