Mesa police are searching for an at-risk, out-of-control teenager

MESA, AZ (AZFamily)– Mesa police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old boy who has run away and may be in danger.

Police said Nash Russo was last seen at Mesa High School on Thursday around 3:45 p.m

The boy fled after getting into trouble at school and told another student that he was thinking of running away, police said.

His family is worried because he has ADHD and it’s out of character for him to run away.

Police said he could be in Mesa or elsewhere in the East Valley.

Nash is described as a white boy with black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 100 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, blue jeans and black and white Nike shoes.

He wore a purple backpack and had a scar over his life’s eye.

Anyone with information is asked to call Mesa police at 480-644-2211.

Police said it wasn't like him to run away.
