Man threatened to publish a video in which he sexually abused sleeping woman with a banana

A man has admitted to filming himself sexually assaulting a woman with a banana and threatening to post the video on the Internet.

Lukasz Hatlas, 23, from Cartlett in Haverfordwest, appeared before Swansea Crown Court where he was charged with two offences.

Hatlas was charged with sexual assault by penetration after allegedly sexually assaulting a sleeping woman with a banana between April 21 and 25.

He was also accused of threatening to publish a film of a person in an intimate state. Hatlas was accused of sending the woman a video of the sexual assault on April 25 and threatening to publish it on Facebook.

The defendant pleaded guilty in both cases.

Hatlas was remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced on June 24.

Judge Geraint Walters ordered the defendant to register as a sex offender.
