Two Midlanders arrested after search warrant leads to drug raid

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – Two Midland men were arrested after a warrantless search turned up large quantities of pills suspected to contain fentanyl, money and a firearm.

According to reports on Thursday, May 30^th The Midland County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigation Unit and SWAT team executed a search warrant in the 3300 block of West Dengar Avenue in Midland, where investigators found several pills suspected to contain fentanyl, as well as a quantity of cash and a weapon.

The Midland County Sheriff’s Office reported that 63-year-old Gabriel Elias Tena Bojorquez and 37-year-old Jessie Wade Chandler were arrested for manufacture or delivery of controlled substances and booked into the Midland County Central Detention Center.

MSCO said this investigation is still ongoing.
