Charges filed against Dylan Gujral, multiple injuries in two-car crash involving drunk drivers on Highway 5 near Hasley Canyon Road

CASTAIC, CA (May 31, 2024) — Dylan Gujral is charged in connection with a two-vehicle accident involving alcohol while driving on the 5 Freeway near Halsey Canyon Road Monday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol in Newhall, the two-car crash occurred around 7:45 p.m. on the 5 North Freeway. Gujral, 28, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol when he drove his white Ford van into an Audi SUV.

Officers then responded to the scene and found several passengers in the Audi SUV with unknown injuries. They also determined that Gujral, of San Francisco, was under the influence of alcohol, which led to his arrest. During the investigation, police found drugs and drug paraphernalia in his car.

He currently has an outstanding warrant from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Office for driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of controlled substances for sale.
