THE PUBLISHED THE PRESS RELEASE: « After six years, the American alternative rock band Buffalo Tom are back with their 10th full-length studio album Jumping rope.

During the lockdown, the band continued to write and send each other ideas for arrangements and parts, which led to a significant delay in song ideas. A sort of direction emerged from the ideas they exchanged; most songs required acoustic and quieter production.

Eventually coming out of their basements, they slowly began working on the songs together in the same room, rehearsing quietly (especially for the very loud sound). After adding a fair amount of overdubs and lots of electric guitars to most of the songs, the songs evolved into this beautiful and exciting new album from Buffalo Tom.
