Person hit by train in Madera, police say | YourCentralValley.com

MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A person was struck by a train Friday morning, according to Madera police.

Officials said they are investigating with Union Pacific personnel after a person was struck by a train traveling into the city.

As a result of the collision, the railroad crossings between Olive Avenue and Central Avenue were closed for the duration of the investigation.
