Jonathan Brodecki, 21, of Moore Avenue in Bensalem, turned himself in to Bensalem Police detectives Thursday on charges of multiple felony counts of sexually assaulting nine minor victims between the ages of 12 and 15 in multiple states.

Bensalem police believe many more victims remain unidentified and did not list the states in which the incidents occurred.

In January 2024, Bensalem Police received information about a Snapchat account that was sexually blackmailing a 15-year-old girl.

Through investigation, it was determined that the creator and user of the account in question, “jack_goodric,” was 21-year-old Jonathan Brodecki of Bensalem, police said.

Brodecki had used this Snapchat account to pretend to be a middle or high school-aged boy.

He then convinced the 15-year-old girl to send him sexually explicit photos and videos because she thought he was the same age as her, police said.

When the 15-year-old victim tried to break off contact with Brodecki, he threatened to post the explicit pictures of her publicly, police said.

Upon further investigation of this Snapchat account, “jack_goodric,” Bensalem investigators identified eight additional victims. These victims were all female and between the ages of 12 and 15.

In all cases, Brodecki “added” these girls on Snapchat and posed as teenagers, sometimes ages 13, 14 or 15, police said.

He then asked the girls to take sexually explicit pictures and send them to him, which many of the victims did.

According to police, Brodecki also sent sexually explicit images to several victims.

At least one other victim, a 13-year-old girl, was sexually blackmailed by Brodecki. He threatened to find and rape her and also to publicly post explicit images of her.

In March, a search warrant was executed on Brodecki’s apartment.

During the search, several electronic devices were seized. After a forensic examination of these devices, it was found that Brodecki had also used a fictitious Instagram account for the same illegal purposes as the fictitious Snapchat account. Police believe there are other juvenile victims who have not yet been identified.

Brodecki was charged with sexual abuse of children, sexual blackmail and distribution of images, sexual abuse of children/possession of child pornography, unauthorized contact with a minor, display and distribution of obscene and other sexual content to a minor, enticement of a minor, terrorist threats, stalking and criminal use of a communications facility.

District Judge Joseph Falcone arraigned Jonathan Brodecki and remanded him to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of a $5 million bond.

Anyone who remembers having contact with “jack_goodric” or other similar usernames on Snapchat or Instagram is asked to contact Detective Ryan Kolb of the Bensalem Township Police Department at (215)-633-3746.
