2 Hempstead men arrested for robbery at Roosevelt Field Mall

Two Hempstead men are facing charges for robbing a store at Roosevelt Field Mall, police said.

Detectives say an employee saw Jeremy Higgins and Kayshawn King attempting to steal items from the Macy’s store around 6 p.m. Thursday

News 12 It was reported that the employee attempted to bring the two 18-year-olds back into the store, but Higgins refused to cooperate and attempted to run away.

According to police, the employee managed to stop him outside and the two were arrested shortly afterwards.
