19-year-old shot in northwest Atlanta apartment, police said

ATLANTA, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – Atlanta police say a 19-year-old man was shot late Thursday night.

It happened around 10:50 p.m. at an apartment complex on Middleton Road near MLK Jr. Drive and I-285 in northwest Atlanta.

Police said the victim was conscious when taken to the hospital. What led to the shooting and whether there are any suspects have not been disclosed.
