Incident occurred on Wednesday morning

A 33-year-old man was electrocuted in Latrobe, Westmoreland County. The incident occurred just after 10:40 a.m. Wednesday on Devereux Drive. The Westmoreland County Coroner said James Alfred McGalla Jr. of Fairchance was working on an air conditioning unit when he came into contact with a live 480-volt circuit. He was taken to the hospital, where he died. OSHA is investigating the incident.

LATROBE, Pennsylvania —

A 33-year-old man was electrocuted to death in Latrobe, Westmoreland County.

The incident occurred shortly after 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday on Devereux Drive.

The Westmoreland County Coroner said James Alfred McGalla Jr. of Fairchance was working on an air conditioning unit when he came into contact with a live 480-volt circuit.

He was taken to the hospital where he died.

OSHA is investigating the incident.
