Howard County police are investigating a suspected murder and attempted suicide involving multiple victims at a home in Elkridge.

County police said officers were called to the 6900 block of Norwood Ferry around 10 p.m. Thursday after neighbors reported hearing gunshots.

According to police, officers entered a house at the crime scene and found the bodies of three women, two seriously injured men and an uninjured teenager.

The two men, one of whom is believed to be the shooter, were taken to hospitals with life-threatening injuries, police said.

Investigators are tentatively assuming that there is a connection between all those involved, but have not publicly disclosed the exact nature of the connection.
