(KRON) – Police are searching for a porch pirate who stole a package from a home on May 1, the Antioch Police Department announced on social media. Around 10:40 a.m., a suspect on a bicycle stole a package from a home in the 1900 block of A Street.

The suspect was frequently seen riding his bicycle in the area of ​​A Street and E. 18th Street, police said. APD released photos of the suspect (see below).

According to APD, the stolen package was believed to be a birthday gift sent to the victim for her birthday. It was sent by a relative of the victim who lives out of state.
