Jordan Jones, wanted for mass shooting at Ellis Square, arrested by SPD

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Jordan Jones, 20, wanted in connection with the May 18 Ellis Square shooting, has been arrested, according to jail records.

According to records, Jones was arrested by Savannah police on May 30 and is being held without bail at the Chatham County Jail. The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office Jail Records Division confirmed to News 3 that Jones’ case report number matches that of the Ellis Square shooting under the direction of the Savannah Police Department (SPD).


Jones is charged with four counts of aggravated assault (participation) and four counts of possession of a weapon during a crime. According to jail records, he was arrested in 2023 on several charges, including speeding and reckless driving.

News 3 has contacted the SPD and is waiting for a response.
