Former NBA player Drew Gordon dies in car crash at age 33 – NBC Bay Area

Former NBA player Drew Gordon, the older brother of Denver star Aaron, died in a car crash in Portland, Oregon on Thursday, the Nuggets confirmed.

Gordon was 33.

The Nuggets Posted a statement on social media with the two brothers in the background.

“Drew was far too young to leave this world, but his legacy will live on forever in his three beautiful children and all his loved ones,” the statement said.

Gordon, a native of San Jose, California, played nine games for the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2014–15 season.

Gordon, a 6-foot-1 man, had college connections to UCLA and New Mexico.

In addition to his time in the G League, he also played abroad. Among other places, he played in Serbia, France, Ukraine, Russia and Turkey.
