Two were arrested for raping and killing a minor girl in UP’s Kanpur

Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) (India), November 17 (ANI): The Uttar Pradesh Police on Tuesday arrested two men for killing a minor girl and cutting out her liver after raping her in Bhadras district of Kanpur had.

According to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Brijesh Kumar Srivastava, the two – Biren and Ankur – were paid for the crime by the victim’s uncle Parashram.

“Yesterday morning, a seven-year-old girl was raped by two men, Beeran and Ankur, in Bhadras. The two lived in the same place and admitted that they were paid by Ankur’s uncle to commit the crime. They drank alcohol and raped her. After that, they cut out her liver and gave her to Parashram,” Srivastava said.

The SP further said that Parashram and his wife were married for over 21 years and could not have a child. They paid the duo to commit the crime due to superstitious beliefs.

A case has been filed under Sections 301 and 202 of the Indian Penal Code.

Parashram and his wife were also arrested by the police. A team has been formed to investigate the case. (ANI)
