A judge in the state of Michigan could not hide his shock when a suspect did the unexpected during a court hearing.

Corey Harris was summoned to a scheduled court hearing via Zoom after being charged with driving without a license.

However, the judge could not believe it when he saw that the suspect was still driving despite having his license revoked.

To make matters worse, Harris had the courage to show up at the court hearing and showed himself driving, CNN reported.

Washtenaw County Judge Cedric Simpson revoked Harris’s bail and ordered him to appear at the local county jail the same day.

Harris has a pretrial hearing scheduled for June 5, and the public defender representing Harris told CNN:

“This is an ongoing case and Washtenaw County has not commented. We are allowing the process to move forward so justice can prevail.”
