AR woman killed in hit-and-run, ASP searches for suspect

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – An Arkansas woman was killed in a single-car crash in Cross County, Arkansas, early Thursday morning, according to Arkansas State Police.

At approximately 5:39 a.m., ASP responded to Highway 64 west of the County Line Liquor Store where a woman was reportedly struck by a car.


According to reports, 66-year-old Lucille Hollis was found lying on the south shoulder of Highway 64. She sustained injuries in the accident and was pronounced dead.

According to ASP, evidence found at the scene of the accident indicates that Hollis was struck by a current GMC/Chevrolet pickup truck as she was walking along the side of the road.
