The Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse have issued an AMBER Alert on behalf of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office regarding a child abduction that occurred on May 6, 2024 at 8:18 p.m.

The child is believed to be in extreme danger and was last seen on Daniel Boone Road in Gate City, VA.

Kidnapped is Cedar Samuel Griffith, 10 months old, black male, black hair, brown eyes, 30 inches, 20 pounds. Last seen when I was only wearing a diaper.

The child is believed to have been abducted by Ashley Jordan Griffith, 30 years old, white female, blonde hair, hazel eyes, 1.60 m tall, weighing 50 kg.

It may be a blue 2005 Lexus RX330 with an unknown temporary Tennessee tag.
