Ashanti Alert issued for missing Davie County woman

DAVIE COUNTY – The NC Center for Missing Persons has issued an Ashanti Alert for a missing Davie County woman who may be traveling through Rowan County.

The report identifies the woman as 60-year-old Cynthia Roberson Gobble. She is described as 5’6″ tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, and wearing a pink short-sleeved shirt with the word “Colorado” printed on it.

She is believed to be dating Gregory Wayne Gobble, 59, who is described as 5’10” tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, and a mustache and beard that are turning gray. Gregory Gobble may be wearing a baseball cap with the word “Colorado” on it and a white t-shirt.

The two are said to be in a 1997 Ford F250 pickup truck with NC plates and the number YV1974. They were last seen in a house in the 300 block of Country Lane in Davie County. The report names a house on High Rock Lake in Davidson County as a possible destination, which could lead the two through the western part of Rowan County.
