48-year-old man found dead in Tulare home, 2 men arrested

TULARE, Calif. (KFSN) – A murder investigation is underway after police in Tulare found a man dead in a home.

Officers arrested 48-year-old Sakuma Lockhard and 26-year-old Steven Elizondo for the crime.

They say both men were in the driveway of a home on R Street near Elm Avenue around midnight Wednesday when officers went there because of suspicious circumstances.

Officers discovered possible blood on her clothing and on the floor.

First responders then entered the building and found 48-year-old Travis Womack dead.

How he was killed is currently unknown.

There is also no information yet about a possible motive for the crime.
