Dallas, Texas: Road rage incident leads to shooting

FORT WORTH, Texas – Dallas police are investigating a shooting that may have begun as a road rage-fueled chase, a news release said.

Officers responded to a call about a shooting Thursday around 1:30 a.m. near St. Francis Avenue, Dallas police said in a statement. Officers on the scene said the suspect chased the victim after the two cars were involved in a minor accident.

The shooting victim was grazed by a bullet and then fled to a QuikTrip on Buckner Blvd, according to officers on the scene. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, the news release said.

According to Dallas police, the suspect left the building before officers arrived.
