How many primetime games should the Houston Texans have?

The hoopla surrounding the release of the NFL schedule has always perplexed me. We already know who the teams are going to play, all we need to know is where and when. This seems like rather unextraordinary information. Yet every year fans go crazy for specific details and this year is no different. In fact, this year could be more important than ever, as the Texans are considered realistic contenders for the playoffs and beyond.

So of course, fans are getting excited for the planned release. We’re potentially days away from its release, and many believe the calendar will drop on May 9, 2024. While that’s only a potential few days away, many are already looking at what the calendar could or should look like. . Just like John Harris from the official Houston Texans website.

He published his calendar forecast and that gave me an idea; How many prime time games should the Texans have? A primetime game is any Thursday, Sunday, or Monday night game where the team is the only or one of only two games that night.

The Houston Texans have 10 games against winning, or teams projected to be winning, in the 2024 season. This can always change, but right now the clubs that appear to be the best are the Jacksonville Jaguars, Colts of Indianapolis, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Green Bay Packers, the Baltimore Ravens, the Miami Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills, the Detroit Lions and the Dallas. Cowboys.

Out of all of these teams, we think the team should have five primetime games. We’re thinking about two games on Thursday night, one against the Colts and one against the Jaguars. The AFC South really brought it last season, so why not reward it?

We’re also thinking about two Sunday night games, one against the Baltimore Ravens in a playoff rematch, and a showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs. The final game, a Monday night game, should be against the Dallas Cowboys, to dominate as a true Texas team.
