After being suspended following the February 14, 2024 episode of AEW Rampage, Sammy Guevara has now hinted at a return following his reinstatement.

The news that Guevara’s suspension was lifted was announced on May 10, 2024, noting that there was “no information” on when he would return to AEW television.

On May 22, Guevara shared a short video (see below) showing that he is back in the ring and training for a return.

Although there is no news on when he will be back on screen, he has now hinted at his return for the AEW Forbidden Door PPV on June 30, 2024.

When a ladder match for the vacant AEW TNT Championship was announced, Guevara tweeted the possibility of his involvement, stating:

“Ladder game 🤔”

The tweet, as seen below, was accompanied by footage of the Undisputed AEW TNT Championship match on the Beach Break episode of Dynamite in 2022, which received a five-star rating from Dave Meltzer.

The clip can be seen along with the highlights of the AEW Beach Break on January 26, 2022 under this news item.

Guevara was suspended following his appearance at AEW Rampage on February 14, 2024 against Jeff Hardy. The action was reportedly taken due to “failure to follow concussion protocol.”
