3 offseason mistakes are already hurting the Atlanta Falcons in OTA

The Atlanta Falcons have begun their preparation for a promising 2024 season. They have already started the OTAs and will finish them with three days scheduled next week.

We’ve already seen a lot of news regarding the team throughout the offseason. They made the biggest free agency signing and most shocking pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Things have been spicy in recent months.

However, things have not been perfect. Some mistakes have already appeared with this team during OTAs.

Avery Williams, the NFL’s best punt returner two seasons ago, is back on the field after tearing his ACL a year ago. This one-year hiatus convinced the new coaching staff that they should add another quality man to the team in Ray-Ray McCloud III.

Although minor, this appears to be an error. Williams is capable of handling return duties himself, making the addition of Ray-Ray questionable.
