Police search for man who stabbed his wife and fled

SAN ANTONIO – A man is on the run after police say he stabbed his wife to death in Southeast Thursday morning, officials said.

The incident occurred around 3:06 a.m. Thursday at an apartment complex in the 6800 block of Pecan Valley.

According to San Antonio police, an argument broke out between a married couple, and at some point the man stabbed the woman in the leg before fleeing the scene.

The police are searching for the man, the woman was taken to hospital in stable condition.
