Chase in Houston: Car rolls over onto its roof at the end of the chase

​According to Pasadena police, the chase began when officers attempted to stop a car that had been reported stolen.

HOUSTON – Five people were taken to a hospital early Thursday morning after a chase in southeast Houston ended in a crash, according to Pasadena police.

This happened around 12:45 a.m. The chase began near Spencer Highway in the Pasadena area and ended on East Orem Drive near Telephone Road. It lasted approximately 10 to 12 minutes.

According to Pasadena police, the chase began when officers attempted to stop a car that had been reported stolen. The driver sped off, then crashed and the car flipped over on its roof.

Officers administered first aid to the five people in the car and took them all to a nearby hospital. Their condition is unclear.

No officers were injured in the incident.
