Police say man found dead on I-5 in Clackamas County was murdered

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A Salem man was murdered in Clackamas County Wednesday morning, according to Oregon State Police.

According to OSP, 42-year-old Oscar Chaidez, who was found dead on I-5 South near Exit 282 around 5:45 a.m., was the victim of a homicide.

Unusually strong atmospheric rivers are heading for the Pacific Northwest this weekend
