As MP districts sizzle at 8 degrees, bats and birds fall dead from trees due to heat stroke | Trending News

The extreme heat wave in Madhya Pradesh is causing severe suffering to humans and animals. Residents are struggling to cope with the scorching heat as temperatures reach 46 degrees Celsius. The intense heat is aggravated by frequent power outages, adding to the discomfort and distress of the people.

In RatlamTemperatures rose above 45 degrees Celsius, resulting in the death of several bats from sunstroke. A viral video showed bats on the ground, one of which was struggling to survive.

A similarly alarming situation was also reported by the Balaghat District where numerous dehydrated birds were found.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for several districts, including Ratlam, Dhar and Rajgarh, and asked residents to take necessary precautions. Rajgarh recorded the highest temperature in the state at 46.8 degrees Celsius.

The ongoing heat wave is making everyday life more difficult and forcing people to avoid outdoor activities during the day.
