The Hillsborough Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Kenneth Lynn Jordan, 62.

The NC Center for Missing Persons has issued a missing person alert to help find Jordan because he is believed to have cognitive impairment.

Jordan is described as a white male with short gray hair and green eyes. He stands 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds. His current clothing is unknown. He is believed to be driving a white 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. There is no license plate assigned to the vehicle.

On Tuesday morning, Hillsborough police officers, along with the Orange Rural Fire Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a structure fire in the 100 block of Faribault Lane at Jordan’s home, which is also his last known location. Jordan was not present when first responders arrived. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

During the investigation, the family informed officers of Jordan’s cognitive impairment.
