Investigation into shooting in Lehigh Acres ongoing, several people arrested

Lee County officials are investigating a shooting near a shopping center in Lehigh Acres Wednesday evening. According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, several people were arrested at a Sunoco gas station on the corner of Lee Boulevard and Homestead Road. NBC2 was on the scene Wednesday evening. The shopping center is currently completely cordoned off with police tape. Multiple LCSO units are investigating the shooting at the gas station.
