Ann Arbor man with suspended license joins Zoom call in court while driving

(NewsNation) – A judge in the state of Michigan was speechless when a Zoom camera caught a man driving a vehicle who showed up in court despite having a suspended license.

The trial, which took place on May 15 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, involved a man named Corey Harris.

After introducing herself, the assistant public defender stated that “Mr. Harris should be present via Zoom,” and almost on cue, Harris joined the conference call.

Harris’ bail was revoked and he was ordered to surrender to the Washtenaw County Jail that same evening.
