Your first warning of increasing rain chances that could affect your weekend plans

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Our dry spell here in the Mid-South continues, but that’s about to change as a more unsettled weather pattern begins to emerge toward the end of the week. Rain chances will be low for the rest of the week, but will increase significantly over the weekend.

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds, with a northeast wind 5 to 10 mph and lows in the 60s to 15s F at night.

THURSDAY: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of isolated showers, with a southeast wind 5 to 10 mph and afternoon highs in the 80s to 90s.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain, southeast winds 5 to 10 mph, and overnight lows in the 60s.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with isolated to widely scattered showers and highs of around 27 °C and lows of around 18 °C at night.

THE WEEKEND: Saturday will be cloudy with occasional rain and a few thunderstorms during the day, evening and night, along with highs of around 27°C and lows of around 18°C. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with isolated showers, highs of around 27°C and lows of around 21°C.

NEXT WEEK: On Monday it will be mostly cloudy with isolated to widely scattered showers, highs of around 30 degrees and nighttime lows of around 21 degrees. On Tuesday it will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain, highs of around 30 degrees and nighttime lows of around 25 degrees. On Wednesday it will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain and afternoon highs of around 30 degrees.
