An Anderson County, South Carolina man was killed in a crash in front of his home, according to the Anderson County Coroner’s Office. Coroner Greg Shore said the crash happened around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday on Murphy Road at K and M Court in Belton. Shore identified the victim as Dakota O’Neal Wilson, 32, of Belton. According to the Anderson County Coroner’s Office, an Anderson County, South Carolina man died in an accident in front of his home.

Coroner Greg Shore said the accident happened about 8.45pm on Tuesday on Murphy Road at K and M Court in Belton.

Shore identified the victim as Dakota O’Neal Wilson, 32, of Belton.

He said Wilson was riding a motorcycle in front of his house when he lost control and struck a sewer line, causing him to strike a tree and be thrown from the motorcycle.

Shore said Wilson was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene of the accident from multiple blunt force injuries.

Shore said speed appears to have contributed to the crash.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
