San Antonio Police and Hyundai are hosting a course on anti-theft software for Hyundai vehicle owners this weekend

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Hyundai are hosting a free anti-theft software event on the West Side this weekend.

Hyundai owners who attend the event will receive “anti-theft software designed to protect against the theft mode popular on social media” and a free steering wheel lock.

According to SAPD, installing the software update on site should take less than 30 minutes.

The seminar will be held at Gustafson Stadium, 7001 Culebra Road, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. No registration or appointment is required for the free event.
