Investigation underway into vandalism at local park – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

SPRINGBORO – An investigation is underway after a playground was vandalized in Springboro.

News Center 7 is working to find out more and will share new details LIVE on News Center 7 at 5:30 a.m.

According to a social media post from the City of Springboro, someone tore down and destroyed a hill at the new playground in North Park.

“Hundreds of families have enjoyed the playground equipment since opening just a few weeks ago. Due to this vandalism, we may now have to close the playground to repair the damage,” the post said.

Anyone who may have seen the possible perpetrator is asked to call Springboro Police at 937-748-0611.
