Jared Gerhard was arrested after allegedly groping a teenager at a mall in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania

LOWER MACUNGIE TWP., Pennsylvania (WPVI) – A man who worked as a substitute teacher at several schools in Lehigh County is accused of inappropriately touching a 17-year-old girl.

The Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office said it happened while the teenager was shopping with his family at the Marshalls store in Lower Macungie Township last Friday.

The prosecutor said 30-year-old Jared Gerhard was hiding between two clothes racks when he grabbed the girl between her legs.

Gerhard ran out of the store, but was stopped and arrested by police officers in his car.
