19-year-old German volunteer found dead in Argentinian ravine

After a four-day search, emergency workers in San Juan, Argentina, discovered the body of Julia Horn, a 19-year-old German volunteer, on Monday, May 27, Tiempo de San Juan reported.

Horn disappeared on Thursday, May 23, after hiking alone in Loma de las Tapias National Park, reports Youth for Understanding (YFU) Argentina, the organization where she volunteered, said.

According to a local news report, Horn died after falling about 100 feet into a ravine and breaking her neck.
