Tawiah Ampomah, the three-year-old boy who died in the car crash involving actor LilWin, has been buried at the deceased’s residence, according to citinewsrrom.com.

The family gathered at home to mourn the loss of the little child. Friends and other relatives expressed their condolences.

A coffin decorated with a colorful cloth was placed in a pit and a wreath was laid on it.

Although Jacob Kofi Ampomah, the boy’s father, had not yet fully recovered from his serious injuries, he was present to pay his last respects to his son.

Jacob is reportedly being treated for a broken leg sustained in the accident. His badly damaged vehicle is currently in police custody while investigations continue.

Yaw Gyamfi, a relative, told Citi News that eyewitnesses and police confirmed that LilWin was speeding and veered out of his lane, stressing the importance of obeying the law.

The news of LilWin’s car accident on May 25, 2024 shocked the Ghanaian community.

The collision occurred in front of Grace Baptist Church in Amakom, Kumasi, where LilWin’s Benz and another vehicle collided head-on, resulting in injuries to him and two other persons.

All the injured, including LilWin, were taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

At the time of the accident, LilWin was on her way to the funeral of actress Matilda Asare’s mother.

Despite his injuries, LilWin attended the premiere of his new movie “A Country Called Ghana” at the KNUST CCB Auditorium later that day.

In the meantime, the police are investigating to determine the cause of the accident and find a solution.

LilWin management has pledged support to the grieving family following the child’s death.
