Hampton police looking for suspect in Dollar Tree robbery

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Hampton Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s) involved in a robbery Saturday night.

According to officials, on May 25 at approximately 8:27 p.m., Public Safety Communications was notified of a robbery at the Dollar Tree in the first block of Lincoln Street.


An investigation revealed that after hiding items on his person, the suspect verbally threatened the employee as he left the store.

According to police, the suspect, described as a black man, was last seen wearing a white zip-up hoodie, black sweatpants and black and white shoes.
