Power lines down, car crash, traffic stop reported by Indiana County 911 on Tuesday

Tuesday was a quiet day for emergency responders. Indiana County’s 911 emergency number reported only three emergency calls.

The Cherryhill Township Fire Department was called to a call at 4:39 a.m. yesterday morning for a utility line break along Spaulding Road in Cherryhill Township. The second call of the day was at 6:34 a.m. for a car crash on Route 422 in Shelocta. The Elderton Fire Department and Citizens’ Ambulance were called to a call at that time along with State Police.

The third call involved a traffic control call by the Aultman, Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments on Route 217 North in Black Lick Township. This call came in at 3:23 p.m.
