Atlanta Market combines celebration and education over five days of programming to deliver market insights, industry entertainment and networking opportunities during the 2024 Summer Edition, July 16-22, 2024, at AmericasMart Atlanta.

Five seminars give attendees insight into the industry across all categories as they reignite summer shopping.

Two main sessions seek to inspire celebrities discussing design and business. Steph Bechard and Crystal Media lead The Top 5 Strategies for Using Social Media to Move Your Merchandise to discuss digital marketing strategy on Wednesday, July 17 at 2:30 p.m.; Leading Ladies: Insights from Women in Business features an all-female entrepreneur panel, featuring Adriana Carrig of Little Words Project and Atlanta Market (A) Listers, Jasmine Crockett and Jordan Jones, on Thursday, July 18 at 2:30 p.m. Showhouse Panel: Sourcing Showrooms and Showhouses addresses the symbiotic relationship between showrooms, designers and sellers on Friday July 19 at 2:30 p.m. All three seminars are offered in the seminar space in Building 1, Floor 14.

The market serves gastronomic education

Three days of immersive cooking demonstrations offer quintessential summer dishes. Anne Byrn’s Baking in the American South features classic Southern treats on Tuesday, July 16; the Ela demonstration serves Mediterranean dishes and creative cocktails on Wednesday, July 17; and Agatha Achindu makes her everyday coconut jollof rice and kale salad in the Agatha Achindu demo + shoutout for Generous Cuisine: Healthy Daily Meals to Nourish You and Your Family on Thursday July 18. The three sessions will take place in the JURA demonstration kitchen in building 2, floor 8 at 2:30 p.m.

Celebrations bring fun in summer

Industry fairs, ground parties and everyday amenities round out the market experience over four days of celebrations, bringing refreshments, light snacks and community to the summer extravaganza.

Shoppers can enjoy a morning pick-me-up with Caroline Russell, ANDMORE Design Services Manager, at Cappuccinos with Caroline on Wednesday, July 17, Thursday, July 18, and Friday, July 19, at 9am. ANDMORE Director of Buyer Services, Logan Avidon, hosts a breakfast for new buyers on Wednesday and Thursday at 9 a.m.

Lively parties and live concerts throughout the AmericasMart campus enhance the market celebrations. ANDMORE’s iconic Market Kickoff Party offers free drinks and light snacks to celebrate the summer market and temporary opening day on Wednesday, July 17 at 6 p.m. Daily Afternoon Beats features live music by DJ Ree de la Vega, Thursday July 18, Friday July 18. July 19 and Saturday July 20, at 3:30 p.m.

Outdoor Living Offers Additional Programming

Atlanta Market offers buyers additional cross-category sourcing and educational opportunities at Casual Market Atlanta, July 15-18, at AmericasMart. The concurrent shopping event offers synergistic discovery with more than 170 complementary casual furniture and outdoor accessories resources.

Two events, presented by the International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA), provide additional inspiration: Trends in Outdoor Living Tour + Lunch provides insight into consumer buying trends on Tuesday, July 16 at 12 p.m.; and Cocktails + Casual offers light snacks and beverages in casual showrooms (Building 1, Floors 2-6) on Thursday, July 18, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
