Wife of an Indian soldier stationed in Ladakh is victim of a gang rape in Jharkhand; investigations are ongoing

Ranchi: In a shocking sexual assault case from Jharkhand, the wife of an Indian Army personnel posted in Leh district of Ladakh was allegedly raped by four assailants in Kharsidag OP area of ​​Ranchi, the woman alleged. Police have launched a manhunt to nab the culprits.

In her complaint, the army officer’s wife stated that four men entered her house on the night of Monday and Tuesday and took turns raping her.

The army officer’s wife has stated in her application to Kharsidag OP in Ranchi that she had shifted to her new house only 15 days ago. According to her, she does not know any of the rapists. The woman lives in Khunti district and was sleeping with her two children in the house in Kharsidag OP area when the assailants took turns raping them and taking them hostage, she said. The woman’s husband is in the Indian Army and is currently posted in Leh. Following the incident, Rural SP and DSP arrived at the spot to investigate the alleged sexual assault.

Ranchi Rural SP Sumit Agarwal and DSP Headquarters, Amar Pandey also visited the victim’s house as part of the investigation. The victim also narrated her ordeal to the two officials. Ranchi Rural SP Sumit Agarwal said the victim had recently moved into her newly constructed house.

According to Rural SP, the victim does not recognize any of the four perpetrators who raped her. According to the victim, four perpetrators entered her house between midnight and 12:30 a.m. and raped her. A report was filed based on the victim’s statement. The woman was medically examined while the case is being investigated further.
